AMP Banking have announced that to manage the ever increasing cost of funds, and to ensure the sustainability of the business and to meet the expectations of both AMP shareholders and AMP Banking customers, that they are increasing the interest rates for most of their variable rate mortgages by 0.05 percent per annum.
This rate increase does not apply to the AMP Banking Basic Variable Rate Loan, so AMP Banking's Basic remains highly competitive. The current Basic Variable Rate Home Loan interest rate for new applications remains unchanged.
