The Rock Building Society announce home loan interest rate rise

Following the recent increase in official interest rates of 0.25 percent by the Reserve Bank of Australia, The Rock Building Society has advised that it has increased its variable home loan interest rates.

This increase takes into account the Reserve Bank of Australia interest rate rise together with continuing increased wholesale funding costs.

This home loan interest rate rise is very much in line with inreases made by the majority of other financial lending institutions since the Reserve Bank of Australia increase.

Effective 18th March 2008 all variable interest rate home loans with The Rock Building Society will increase by 0.35 percent
