The Rock Building Society is increasing one, two, three and five year fixed interest rates incluuding all Standard, Line of Credit, Standard Lo Doc, and Lo Doc Line of Credit interest rates effective for all home loan applications received after 8.30am Queensland Time Monday 12 May 2008.

The Rock Interest Rate Movements

Effective Friday 11 April 2008, the Rock Building Society will increase all of its variable home loan interest rates (excluding lo doc variable) by 0.10 percent as a result of continuing increased wholesale funding costs. This interest rate rise is in line with adjustments made by other financial institutions recently.

The Rock Building Society announce home loan interest rate rise

Following the recent increase in official interest rates of 0.25 percent by the Reserve Bank of Australia, The Rock Building Society has advised that it has increased its variable home loan interest rates.

This increase takes into account the Reserve Bank of Australia interest rate rise together with continuing increased wholesale funding costs.
